How is it already March?? A year ago today we were making last minute preparations for Martin's bodybuilding competition, Lydia was just barely walking, I was about 6 months pregnant with Evelyn, we were still living in our old house, and Cancer was not a part of our life at all.
Sometimes I look back and think that we might never be as happy as we once were, but on more positive days I think about how much we've grown in the past year, about the time we've been given, and how I would choose this this life with him and our sweet babies again and again over a care-free life without them.
So, here's to coming full circle! Here's to new beginnings, to coming out of our dark winter dens, to vitamin D, to jumping on the trampoline and the smell of freshly mown grass. To bare feet and dirty hands, to road trips, fresh flowers, sunglasses, birds singing, and late-night bonfires.
Here's to new patterns of thoughts, new waves of emotion, new connections to the world, to living with hope every day, to letting others in, and to new beliefs in ourselves and our capacity for happiness:)
