The Flower Infused Oil: Idan Oil by LIHA - Natural hairstyle for mens and womens

By now you all know how much a love a multi tasking product and I've found another amazing product for you all this time from LIHA an artisan beauty brand founded by Liah Okunniwa and Abi Oyepitan who both have a passion for beauty. I'm currently in love their Idan Oil Named after the Yoruba word for magic it can be used for absolutely everything from shaving to co washing to an all over body treat it can also be used as a solid perfume. Not only is it multi Tasking it's smells AMAZING scented with the Tuberose flower, which is a night blooming flower that is native to mexico.

"LIHA combines elements of both the diverse landscape, and the cultural history of Britain. Inspired by their heritage and traditional techniques, this range of body essentials blends urban and rural with African roots and a quintessentially British attitude"

I adore the overall feel of LIHA, as a Brit girl with African roots myself this brand is right up my street from the packaging to the processes in which they craft their products. They are also fans of DIY beauty and post up recipes like this

"Africa holds a multitude of little known natural beauty secrets and remedies that have been proven over centuries of use, from the natural moisturising power of raw shea butter to unique African recipes for extracting flower essence into coconut oils"

LIHA Idan Oil is a blend of natural cold pressed coconut oil which is one of my favourite oils and works wonders on my skin, hair [I'm pretty sure I have Coconut running through my veins] LIHA make their products in small batches. Idan Oil is Wild Crafted this is one of those buzz words I hear a lot but have no idea what it actually means after a little digging I found that it's a much more ethical way of harvesting plants.

"When wildcrafting is done sustainably with proper respect, generally only the fruit, flowers or branches from plants are taken and the living plant is left, or if it is necessary to take the whole plant, seeds of the plant are placed in the empty hole from which the plant was taken. Care is taken to only remove a few plants, flowers, or branches, so plenty remains to continue the supply"

I've use Idan Oil twice now, and I'm in love I've used as a bath oil, which was amazing and relaxing due to the aromatic Tuberose my skin Felt wonderful after using and the aroma lasted all day [I was feeling myself] I have also used it as a night treatment as suggested by LIHA I used it last night before bed and this morning my skin is beautifully soft and scented. You don't need to use to much so I'm sold on this unique brand and their wonderful oil after just to uses, so imagine how distraught I was when Freya dropped  my newly beloved oil on my bathroom tiles,  I think I cried a little bit. Those are the perils of blogger with a 3 year old around. I've just brought a 30ml [£16] bottle from LIHA so that should soften the blow of seeing the £39 oil on the floor. I would have definitely re brought this product, this is just a little sooner than I was hoping. I will keep you posted as I used the oil over the coming weeks.

TIP: Idan Oil solidfies at room temperature place under a warm tap or in a bowl of warm water to turn to liquid [not boiling water!] decant into small tub and use as a solid perfume, I'll be doing this when I get my next bottle as the aroma is too amazing for words great for those looking for a natural perfume alternative
