I made the switch to natural deodorant quite sometime ago I kept switching from natural to regular deodorant because I wasn't happy with the results of the various products I had tried out. There where a few that I really liked such as Pitrok which was a spray but I tired of having to wait for my pits to dry out before I could put on clothes I was also pretty happy with the Hippy Paste which definitely worked at stopping any odours however I still felt wet if sweated more than normal. However as much as I want to be as natural as possible I am also a realist, I want to be comfortable and only use products that work for me. I've finally found the deodorant that does and it's natural!
Schmidts Natural Deodorant is US based company that specialises in natural deodorant sticks and pastes. I've been using it for a few weeks and it's working wonders, it's easy to apply [as it has an applicator] and comes in scents that you can actually smell, my pits are left dry for the whole day with little to no wetness even on my most sweaty days! I've mentioned before the benefits of using a natural deodorant. Due to the use of Aluminium in many regular deodorants they can be very toxic

Blocking your cells is not good, this means that harmful toxin we ingest in day to day life can not escape our bodies [we sweat for a reason ladies! we don't want pollutants clogging us up] so back to Schmidts, It's formulated in much the same way as many natural deodorants using baking soda. Baking soda is well known for being able to absorb moisture. Body odour is caused when the bacteria on that area comes into contact with sweat. Baking Soda kills bacteria and neutralizes / alkalises the body to prevent excess sweating and odour. Baking soda can be an irritant to some, the skin under our arms is very delicate so I'd suggest patch testing any products that contain Baking Soda first.
All brands are different and use different amounts of baking soda so try a few out, high concentrations of Baking Soda will irritate even the most robust of skin. [under no circumstances should a deodorant make your pits sore, stop using it if it does as I've heard some say this is a type of detox from switching from chemical to natural deodorants its more likely the amount of Baking Soda in the product.]
Schmidts Natural Deodorants come in a selection of aroma's my favourite is the Lavender and Sage as it has a lasting aroma, I feel really comfortable wearing this deodorant it absorbs well and though some have had trouble with it being too grainy i've really not found that to be the case, it melts with your body heat and absorbs fairly quickly.
My top tips:
Remove with provide spatula and then apply with hands in circular motion.
Apply to clean skin
Check your boobs while applying [to birds one stone #breastcancerawarness]
Don't apply directly after shaving or waxing
